映像学科・メディアアートゼミ

「メディアアート」ゼミでは、美学的・哲学的な視点からの実験的なメディアアート制作を進めます。日本で展覧会やライブイベントなど、発表の場を数多く設け、海外の教育機関と共同で国際交流プロジェクトも展開しています。

今回の2020年度6月のオープンキャンパスでは、上映プログラムとパフォーマンスプログラムを両方用意しております。
それぞれのプログラムに学部4年生、大学院1年生と2年生が参加しています。

村上 サラ（MURAKAMI SARA、ムラカミ サラ）

作品タイトル：「eat, breathe, blink」

作品概要：歩いてるときふと足元を見ると、不思議なものが落ちていることが沢山ある。そんな面白い落し物に焦点を当てた作品です。
Work Description: When I walk, I always see a lot of strange things on the ground. This film focuses on these unique lost items.

作品概要：個人的な環境の中で、生活は他人から注いだ視線の欠如の故、より現実味を帯びて見える。大いなる何かの前に、彼らはモチーフではなく、彼女の詩、メタファーのトリオである。
Work Description: In an individual environment, life becomes more real because of the lack of gaze from others. In front of something great, they are not motifs but her poems, a trio of metaphors.

作品タイトル： 私を見るか
Work Title: Can You See Me

作品解説：もとはインタラクティブ映像装置の作品です、今日は映像の部分のみを上映します。映像はインタービュー映像と抽象的な映像というニつの部分を含んでいます。人と人との関係、及び人々の性格の特性を表現します。インタービューを通じて、他人の人生の経歴と性格の特性を傾聴しながら理解し、その中から感情的表現力が豊かな画面を取り出し、人の性格の特性を反映できる画面から核を抽出し、記号化される隠喩を通じて画面をよリいっそう抽象化させ、最後にレンズ映像として表現します。最初の映像はインタービュー映像です、その後はこのインタービューの上で抽象的な映像です。
Work Description: It is a work made with an interactive video device. Only the video part is shown here. The video includes two parts: the first part is the interview, the subsequent part are abstract videos made from the first interview part. The work describes the relationship between people and the characteristics of their personality. Through interviews, we can understand the history and the personality of others, extract emotional images from them, and extract the nucleus from images that reflect the characteristics of their personality. Images are made even more abstract through the metaphors, and finally expressed as "lens videos".

Work Title: Untitled

作品概要：鳥をテーマにし、手書き＋スキャナーで制作した、幾つの短いアニメーション作品です。物語性の作品ではなく、アニメーションの動きの不思議さや、手書きの質感を表現するための試みです。
Work Description: This film is a compilation of several short animations, where I use bird as a motif, made with traditional ink on paper technique. The purpose of the animation is not to tell a story but to convey the magic of pouring life into the drawings, and also to express the texture of the medium.

作品概要：シングルマザー綾子は、娘が独立した現実を受け入れなく、子離れできなかった。娘のあらゆる行為から異常と感じて、今の娘は偽物だと思い始め、段々と気狂いになっていく......
Work Description: Single mother AYAKO can't stand that her child has grown up. She wants to keep her daughter with her. She starts to feel something wrong about her life and sees hallucinations. AYAKO gradually loses her mind...

作品解説：ペルセポネは大地と豊穣の女神デーメーテールの娘で、冥王ハーデースの妻だ。デーメーテールは娘が冥界に奪われたことに悲しくて、ハーデースと交渉した。毎年の1/3にペルセポネが冥界に過ごし、残りはデーメーテールのそばに過ごすと決めた。ペルセポネの帰還はペルセポネが母親の元に戻す時のことだ。
Work Commentary: Persephone is the daughter of Demeter, the goddess of earth and fertility, wife of Hades, the governor of the underworld. Demeter was sad that her daughter has been taken to the underworld, and negotiated with Hades to get her back. Persephone decides then to spend one-third of the year in the underworld, and the rest of the year with her mother. "The Return of Persephone" is a painting which describes the scene of Persephone coming back to her mother, painted by Frederic Leighton, in 1891.

作品概要：敵対的生成ネットワーク技術による、AI自動生成抽象的動きを表現する実験作品。
Work Description: An experimental work that expresses AI automatically generated abstract motion using "Generative Adversarial Network".

作品タイトル: 舞い込む・溶ける前に
Work Title: Before Melting

作品概要：氷の上で踊っている光点を見ながら、抽象と具象のエッジに沿って泳ぎ、知らず知らずのうちに光の世界へ歩いていた。
Work Description: Watching the light spots dancing on the ice, wandering in the world of abstract and figurative boundaries, unconsciously falling into the light.

森重 光（MORISHIGE HIKARU、モリシゲ ヒカル）

作品タイトル: 鏡 Ⅱ（わたしの見る わたしを包む）
Work Title: Mirror II
制作年：2019

作品概要：モニターの正面に立った鑑賞者の全身の動きを深度センサとスケルタルトラッキングミドルウェアを使用しトラッキングし、モニター内の人物の3DCGモデルが鑑賞者と同じ動きをする。Unityにてすべてリアルタイムで処理・出力した。
Work Description: A depth sensor and Nuitrack (Skeletal Tracking Middleware) are used to track the movement of the whole body of the viewer standing in front of the monitor. The 3DCG model of the person in the monitor makes the same movement as the viewer. Processed and output in real time by Unity.

丁 若恬（DING RUOTIAN、テイ ジャクテン）

作品タイトル：we are here
制作年：2019

作品概要：私はこの作品を通して、視覚と聴覚のコラボレーションについて研究しました。「音を絵にする」、すなわち「見える音」をアニメーションにします。まずは音楽を先に作り上げて、それから音楽を聴きながら、音楽の調律によって音の形と色と動きを連想してみます。また、日常生活によく触れる音と動物の声を加え、想像力を使い視覚と聴覚のコラボレーションを実験していきます。
Work Description: Through this work, I researched about the collaboration between the visual and the auditory. I am "drawing sounds", that is, I make an animation work with "visible sounds". I made the music first, and then while listening to the music, I have associated shapes, colors and movements of the sound, in relation to the tuning of the music. In addition, I added familiar daily life sounds and voices of animals, and use my imagination to realize a collaboration between sight and hearing.

作品概要：旅、石、そして街への思い、という三部構成になっています。カメラのファインダーを見ないで撮影することも含めて、生きる行為において自然なもの、写真と動画の関係性についての実験でもある。内側と外側、それらの関係、そして一年間の自分の記録でもある。
Work Description: The work is composed in three parts: travel, stones, and feelings for the city. It is also an experiment on the natural things in life, the relationship between photos and movies, including taking pictures without looking at the viewfinder of the camera. It's also about the inside and the outside and their relationship, and a year's record of myself.

Work Description: It is a story of being locked in a house, which is developing under the influence of corona.

作品概要：本作は、私が最近よく考えている心地よい視覚的キモ身体感覚を映像に詰め込んでみたいという試みである。
Work Description: This film is an attempt to cram into the video a pleasant visual creepy physical sensation, which I have been thinking about a lot lately.

作品タイトル： 破壊的ナルシシズム
Work Title: Zerstörerischer Narzissmus
制作年：2019

作品概要：夢が叶うことを切望していた若き青年は絶望し、その時感じていた感情と共にメールボックスに自分の体の部分を1つずつ収集し始める。彼が過去から現在まで集めた感情のコレクションは一体どんな結末を向かうのであろうか。
Work Description: A young man, desperate to make his dream come true, despairs and begins to collect his body parts one by one in his mailbox, along with the emotions he felt at that time. What is the conclusion of the collection of emotions he has collected from the past to the present?
