「メディアアート」ゼミでは、美学的・哲学的な視点からの実験的なメディアアート制作を進めます。日本で展覧会やライブイベントなど、発表の場を数多く設け、海外の教育機関と共同で国際交流プロジェクトも展開しています。今回の2020年度8月のオープンキャンパスでは、上映プログラムとパフォーマンスプログラムを両方用意しております。それぞれのプログラムに学部4年生、大学院1年生と2年生が参加しています。

「VACANT」

実験映像作品です、ソビエト作家ヴィクトル・シュクロフスキーの文化研究の中に提出する「Defamiliarization 」理論に基づく、今の常態に対してストレンジ化処理する。コンピュータインタフェースのzoom 会議ソフトウェアを通じて、開放叙事を探索する。

This is an experimental video based on the theory of "estrangement" discussed in Soviet writer Shklovsky's work "Art as Device".

The video intends to defamiliarize and "estrange" the current norm by exploring an open ended narrative through a Zoom interface on one's computer desktop.

「私はチャリ乗るのが大好き / We Love Cycling」

普段我々が見たのは大規模な活動領域だが、本当は言葉も行為も出る瞬間から拘束となり、我々の世界を狭まる。その一方で、自転車で引いた輪は必ずしも線画ではない。この実験で日々応答に窮する境界線を少しでも拡張させていただければ幸いです。

What we saw generally - a massive activity sphere is restrained from the moment words and actions come out. What bicycles draw is a circle but not linearly. We hope that this experiment will expand the boundaries of your daily response to a slight extent.

「Don't Linger in Ruins 」

ある2 人の人は書面のメッセージで通信します。何かが起きたら、相手が静かになり、そして悲しみに対処するための秘密のアドバイスを提供し、メッセージがまだ同じ人から来ているかどうかわからなくなります。映像は、月島の静かな空の脇道の詳細を表示します。人間は反射やスキームとしてしか見えません。

「Don't Linger in Ruins 」は、おそらく世界の終わりの語になるかもしれませんが、コミュニケーションの終わりの話にも見えるんでしょうか。

「Untitled 」

事物の本質的要素とは何か。認識の変動が起こった時、必然的に別のものに変化してしまうのか。事物の変化と、その存在性の持続に関する形而上学的問に答えてみる。

What is the essential element of things? When changes in cognition occur, do they inevitably change to something else? Answer the metaphysical questions about changes in things and their persistence of existence.

「みなさんへ都会の愛着から」

制作年: 2019-2020

東京はオリンピックに向かって、いろな分野から前に進化している。"⼈工"というエフェクトを掛け、AIやロボットは人間の体を真似するだけではなく、意識を塑造し、人間を超える存在を目指している。新しい可能性や地球規模の都市間競争下で、私は捨てられた部分都市と都市しかない魅⼒を感じ、⾃自分は過激の変化で過去が恋しくなって、変化に対して拒否反応を起こし、しかし、都市の成⻑は⽌まらない、毎日成長しに⾏く。

私の中から⽣まれた"都市"とその都市の中にいる私が会話し、今の⾃自分の状態と都市から受け取ったメッセージがお互い影響して、生まれた物語でもある。 

Tokyo, where live now, is evolving from various fields ahead of the Olympics. By applying the effect of "artificial", AI and Robot not only imitate the human body, but also shape their consciousness and aim to be beyond human beings. Under the new possibilities and the global inter-city competition, I felt the attraction of only abandoned sub-cities and cities,I missed the past due to radical changes and rejected the changes. However, the growth of the city will not stop.

It's a story born from the conversation between "A city born from me", my current situation and the messages I received from the city.
